Wow it has been a while! It feels good to be back and blogging again. I honestly didn't think I would go back to it but so much has changed in my life over the past year that it seemed like a great time to get back into it. Mostly because I have a lot more to say! As you can see from my updated about me page there is a lot of new things going on in my life. I decided to graduate a year early! And I got into law school! It all happened super fast and I feel like my head is still spinning. I am so excited to start this new journey and to share it with all of you! A few other updates: me and Ben are still great. We're actually moving in together this summer! He still has another year of school left but when he's home on breaks he will be coming back to our apartment rather than his parents house. I am in love with my sorority! Joining adpi has been one of the best decisions I made in college and I have made such amazing friends here. It will be really hard to leave in a few weeks. I am also restructuring the blog a little bit. I really want to share my experiences with the law school application process as well as my journey through my 1L year at Villanova Law School. I hope that I can reach other students going through this transition and catalog some helpful tips along the way. Don't worry I'm not gonna stop posting my beauty, fashion, and fitness tips! Now that I'm back what else would you like to see? Let me know in the comments!

Hey guys! Well I did it! I survived spring recruitment! And guess what??? I found my home! I am so so happy that I have found the house where I truly belong! And now the moment we have all been waiting for....My house is..... Alpha Delta Pi! I am so excited to be able to call the first and the finest my sisters! Bid day was amazing and I had so much fun! Now its time to start my period as a new member! Here are some photos from bid day! Are there any other Alphas or Deltas out there reading this?? Let me know in the comments! <> <3
Well I made it through my first weekend of rush! And let me just say, it was much more exhausting than I thought it would be. Who knew that all that talking and walking between houses would make me this tired. After the first two nights I felt very confident about the conversations I had with all of the girls I was able to talk to and was very happy when I ranked my choices at the end of Saturday. I came back on Sunday for Round 2 (philanthropy) and I got asked back to four houses. I was a little disappointed by this at first because other girls around me got back seven or eight but once I really looked at my paper and thought about it I got back all of the houses I liked so that is all that matters. I am not going to post about what specific houses I got back until I get my bid out of respect to the other chapters but I will say that after Philanthropy and conversations I had with people after the fact I am convinced I want to get a bid from one of two houses. I really liked philanthropy round, it was interesting to learn about so many different causes and I can definitely see myself being an active participant in every one of them. Stay tuned for next weekend for the last two rounds! I am still super nervous but I can't wait to find out where I belong! Tell me your rush stories in the comments!
Hey guys! So I had gotten a request to do a blog post all about my amazing guy Ben! Ben and I have been together for a little over a year and a half and when I say that he is the best thing that ever happened to me I mean it. He keeps me grounded and confident in myself and also helps me to grow in my relationship with the Lord which is super important. Ben attends the military college of Vermont and is a sophomore cadet corporal in their corps of cadets. He loves everything about being in the army and it is his dream to commission upon graduation and branch aviation. He is also an extremely smart civil engineering major who has a real passion for working in transportation after his term of service is done. Here are some pictures!
Hi guys! So I decided to do a list of New Year's resolutions for my blog. I am so excited that I have started this project and I really hope that by setting goals for myself I will be able to make this blog successful. So here it goes!:
Hey guys! So I am super excited to announce that I have officially signed up for spring formal recruitment at UMD! I am incredibly stoked but also incredibly nervous about how this is all going to play out but I know that at the end of it I will have tons of brand new sorority sisters to call my family! Be sure to check back regularly to see how I am planning and coping!
